Well, I recently realized there’s one important (some might say vital!) wedding day accessory I’ve yet to post about on the site. We’ve done multiple ring posts, with beautiful vintage style engagement rings and oh so pretty art deco 1920s cocktail rings… but it would appear we haven’t addressed the one ring to rule them all! THE WEDDING BAND ITSELF!
I know from my own search that finding amazing vintage style bands is harder than finding vintage style engagement rings, and of course so much of the search depends on multiple factors: will you be wearing your engagement ring alongside as a set, do you want your ring to match your husband or wife’s, etc, etc. So we’ll start small with a few art deco men’s wedding bands for the gentlemen, and make a note to keep our eyes peeled and post more as we find them! Certainly ring sets will get at least one post of their own, women’s bands, diamond bands, etc, but today we’ll focus on more basic, stand alone deco style or vintage inspired wedding bands for men.
First up, this very cool “duck band” style from MetalPressions.
This look has a fabulous machine age / Metropolis vibe, and since they have font options, you could go slightly art deco, moderne, nouveau or any other style that speaks to you. Love this design! God bless Etsy.
The pyramids cuts and grooves give it a chevron-y / geometric deco inspired vibe, and I love how clean, but unusual the design is.
Finally, this very cool art deco men’s wedding band by Spexton. Love the copper inlay, and the brushed/grooved finish…
This, for me, is the perfect mix of classic and unique (not too crazy, not too common.) And it’s very handsome indeed!
Best wishes to all the grooms out there! Let us know if you find any great bands yourselves, we’d love to share more.
