Well, everyone, it’s that time of year… the most wonderful time of the year! OK, OK, so some may disagree. But I myself am a sucker for the holiday season no matter how you slice it: flavored-coffee-wise, weather-wise, music-wise, decoration-wise, cookie-wise… and of course… the parties!

First up, perennial favorites ModCloth (where I myself just purchased my Christmas Eve ensemble). They’ve got vintage styles from every era, but their 1920s inspired deco looks are (of course) my favorite. Like these absolutely perfect “Dazzling Deco” heels in silver and green.
Um… yeah. To die for. Or these lovely flapper inspired dresses, with a little holiday glitz on one and holiday green on the other:

Today we’re here to shine a spotlight on two of our beloved sponsors here at Deco Weddings: Berlin-based design house Tilda Knopf, established by costume designer Virginie Henzen, and sample-and-preowned wedding dress purveyor Nearly Newlywed. First up we’ve got the (honestly, spectacular) work of Tilda Knopf. We first saw some of these gowns on Instagram …
Shoes, glorious shoes! That’s what today’s post is all about. Shoes, ladies. Art deco shoes, 1920s shoes, flapper shoes up the wazoo(s). There is no time to waste, there are too many shoes to get to. First up, I have to share a find I made. I am tempted not to tell you all about …
Hello all! Today we’re going to present you with a variety of gorgeous 1930s evening gowns, absolutely perfect for a chic black-tie event, a dance or fancy gathering, or (as might apply to many of our readers), the ideal solution for vintage inspired bridesmaid dresses. The silhouettes of the 1930s were often sleeker and more …
We’ve featured the gorgeous designs of Johanna Johnson before (both her Trousseau Bridal collection and her RIDICULOUS-IN-THEIR-BEAUTY 1920s headbands and art deco jewelry)… …and today we need to bring your more deco-y goodness in the form of her 2013 collection, “Still Is The Night, Not So My Heart…”, inspired by the Ziegfield Follies chorus girls …

That’s the Art Deco Ball Dress and the A Frond Farewell Dress, both from ModCloth. In the mood for some deco accessories? They’ve got those too, yes they do:
Deco perfect chevron styling of the Feather Your Cap Headband, amazing black and white deco fan Hip Hop Shape Earrings and the feathery Deco Doll Earrings.
Or how about these guys below? I will take either/both of these dresses, thank you and merry Christmas to ME!
That’s a royal blue satin drop-waist dress by Alberta Ferretti, via The Outnet on the left, and the Deco Lace Maxi dress via Miss Selfridge on the right…. gorgeous, no?
