So happy that wallpaper is coming back into fashion! We’ve posted before about using art deco wallpaper as pattern and decor inspiration, and there really are hugely talented designers working in this field these days.
Check out these awesome vintage wallpaper looks from modern designers: not pure deco, a couple have that 60’s/Mad Men feel, and there’s a lovely art nouveau one in there, but they are all fabulous.
This lovely 1920 print by Georges Barbier is called simply “The Bride”. Barbier designed sets and costumes for the Folies Bergère and is well known for his art nouveau and art deco illustrations.
