It’s been a while since we checked back on the collection of vintage style wedding dresses at one of our favorite 1920s + 30s inspired online bridal retailers (the reliably swoon-worthy BHLDN) but we took a look over the weekend at some of their newer gowns and WOW. And yay! And wow.
First up, one of the loveliest we’ve seen yet from any of their collections, this is the Jacinda:
YES. This one is a BHLDN exclusive and probably our favorite of the newer gowns. The 1930s blouson look is already a classic, but this version is elevated by that carefully bejeweled illusion neckline, and the romantic covered buttons up the back. Absolutely gorgeous.
Equally lovely is the spare and elegant Alice gown. No frills, no fussiness, just clean lines and pure glamour.
The beaded, sheer waistline adds a little intrigue, and the short sleeves are so unique!
The Reagan gown is also a new favorite. Classic bridal look, with lace and tulle aplenty, and there’s something delightfully whimsical about it, especially with a vintage style sash:
Also lacy, also feminine, also classic is the April gown. With a more fitted silhouette, but a lovely vintage flair, this is another gown that looks absolutely smashing with a sash:
Finally we’d like to highlight the Fantasia gown. We are, admittedly, partial to that flowing Grecian look (as were the ladies of the 1920s!) and this gown is a dreamy embodiment of that classic style:
