This truly spectacular antique 1930s cushion cut green alexandrite ring is an amazing vintage find. Carefully set in its original 1930s filigree and surrounded by sparkling diamond accents, this stunning 2.42ct natural alexandrite seems to glow from within, changing color from a bluish green in daylight to a grayish purple in incandescent light.

The bezel on the Alexandrite is handmade platinum and the rest of the ring is 18k white gold. Excellent condition, with no repairs or defects, the jeweler says this is “one of the nicest vintage Alexandrite rings we have seen in years”. Click through for more images and detail!

Beautiful antique 1930s cushion cut green alexandrite ring.

Alexandrite is an 8.5 on the Mohs scale. It has good toughness and no cleavage (a tendency to break when struck) making it well suited to daily wear.
